Tasmania and Tasmanian Tiger (cont)

The Tasmanian tiger, of which scientific term is Thylacine, was native to Australian mainland. The extinction of the Tiger from continental Australia was about 2,000 years ago, and it was last seen in Tasmania approximately sixty years ago. It was classified as a marsupial since it has a pouch in both sexes. It has shot hair, a yellow- brown coat, a striped back and a stiff tail. Australian scientists have made several attempts have it cloned, and their work is in right perspective.
